Tata Motors has topped India’s electric four-wheeler sales in FY2025. Tata continued to dominate the market by selling a total of 61,443 electric cars this financial year. MG is at the second position and the company sold 36,585 electric cars. Mahindra is on the third position with 12,890 electric cars reaching customers. Hyundai is at the fourth position with sales of 3,970 units, while Kia has sold 828 electric cars. With a total of 115,716 electric four-wheelers sold in India in FY2025, it is clear that the electric vehicle market in the country is expanding rapidly.

MG Comet EV
It is one of the leading and popular electric cars in the country. Its price starts from Rs 7.50 lakh (Ex-showroom). This car has a battery pack of 17.3 kWh. Charging time is 5 hours from 10% to 80% and 7 hours from 0% to 100% using a 3.3 kW charger.
Tata Tiago EV
Tata’s most affordable Tiago electric car offers two driving modes. This EV can accelerate from 0 to 60 kmph in 5.7 seconds. It has eight-speaker system, rain-sensing wipers, cruise control, push-button start/stop, electric ORVMS and many other features.
Tata Punch EV
The Tata Punch EV is available in two battery pack options. The 25 kWh battery pack has a certified range of 421 km, while the 35 kWh battery pack has a certified range of 315 km. This EV can be charged from 10 to 80% in 56 minutes using any 50 kW DC fast charger.
