Haryana: Haryana Roadways buses will now run at this speed, Minister Vij issued these instructions

Haryana News: After the Meteorological Department issued an alert of dense fog in Haryana, Transport Minister Anil Vij has given instructions to control the speed of roadways buses. Minister Vij said that to prevent accidents on the roads during fog, the maximum speed of buses has been fixed at 60 kilometers per hour.

Strict warning to driver and conductor

Vij has instructed the officials that during fog, especially in the morning and evening, buses should run at a speed of only 60 km/hour. He clarified that if any driver or conductor violates this rule, strict action will be taken against him.

Reflectors mandatory to increase security

The Transport Minister has also given instructions to install side reflectors at the front and rear of all buses. This step has been taken to increase vehicle visibility in dense fog and prevent accidents.

Meteorological Department alert

India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a warning regarding dense fog in the districts of South Haryana, Rajasthan and NCR. Officials have advised drivers to take special care in the morning.

The government has appealed to the people to keep a constant eye on weather information and follow the given guidelines. For this, information can be taken from radio, TV and newspapers.

Concern about accidents due to fog

There have been many road accidents in Haryana in recent times due to dense fog. Visibility remained limited to only 5 to 10 meters in most districts of the state in the last two days. On Monday, 5 people, including a CISF Inspector and Lady ASI, died in accidents in Faridabad, Nuh, Sonipat, Hisar and Sirsa.
