Nifty 50 top gainers today, December 18: IndiGo, TCS, Max Healthcare, Tech Mahindra, Infosys and more

Indian equity benchmarks ended marginally lower after a volatile session on December 18, even as select heavyweight stocks managed to close in the green. The Sensex slipped 77.84 points (0.09%) to 84,481.81, while the Nifty 50 edged down 3 points (0.01%) to 25,815.55.

Despite the broader weakness, a few heavyweight stocks managed to close higher and featured among the top gainers on the Nifty 50 index. Here are the top gainers from the Nifty 50 index (as per Trendline).

Nifty 50 Top Gainers

InterGlobe Aviation closed at ₹5,125, up 2.9%emerging as the top gainer on the Nifty 50.
Tata Consultancy Services ended at ₹3,281.2, rising 2.0% during the session.
Max Healthcare Institute settled at ₹1,048, higher by 1.6%.
Tech Mahindra closed at ₹1,605, gaining 1.6%.
Infosys finished at ₹1,627.1, up 1.6%.
Wipro ended at ₹264.1, advancing 1.1%.
Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone closed at ₹1,497.4, up 0.8%.
Hindalco Industries settled at ₹855, rising 0.7%.
Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories ended at ₹1,280, higher by 0.6%.
HDFC Life Insurance closed at ₹758, up 0.6%.
