Kabaddi player Balachauria’s murderer killed in encounter…
Chandigarh. Punjab Police has killed the shooter accused of murder of Mohali’s Kabaddi player Rana Balachauria in an encounter. The shooter killed in the encounter that took place in the area of Laldu located on the Chandigarh-Ambala National Highway on Wednesday has been identified as Harpinder Singh alias Middu. Two police personnel have also been injured in this encounter. Middu, a resident of Tarn Taran district of Punjab, had given ground support to the shooters.
In this case, the mastermind of the murder, Ashdeep Singh, has been arrested by the police from Delhi Airport. On his interrogation, Jugraj Singh was caught from Amritsar. On the information of which the police encountered Harpinder.
According to Mohali SSP Harmandeep Singh Hans, Ashdeep is mainly the handler and coordinator of Donnie Bal. He was the one who had planned the murder. After the murder, he had also booked a ticket to flee abroad. The police has also released the photographs of two shooters, Aditya Kapoor and Karan Pathak, who had murdered Balachauria as per the plan.
Hans told that when Ashdeep was caught, it was found that he had come to India from Russia on November 25. He had been involved in many incidents earlier also and had gone out. It has direct contact with Doni Bal.
The accused had booked a ticket to go abroad on 14th December and after completing the plan on 15th, he left for Delhi. On receiving information on 16th, he was arrested from the airport.
When Ashdeep was caught, information was received about more people involved in the murder. After this, another accused named Jugraj Singh from Amritsar was arrested along with Amritsar Police. So far two people have been arrested in this case.
The accused with whom the encounter took place was also planning to flee abroad with Ashdeep Singh. He had to pick her up from Lahli area of Laldu, but their conversation could not happen due to his arrest. Today, when the police teams surrounded the accused, he opened fire. In which two employees have been injured. The accused was killed during the response.
