Rajasthan wins in Ease of Doing Business! Less rules, faster pace, new path for investment

Rajasthan News: Rajasthan has made a big achievement in strengthening the Ease of Doing Business. Under the compliance burden reduction and de-regulation drive launched by the Central Government under the leadership of the Prime Minister, Rajasthan has become one of the leading states to achieve full compliance in all 23 priority reform areas.

These reforms were implemented on time under the guidance of the Chief Minister and through frequent meetings chaired by the Chief Secretary. This directly benefited the investment environment of the state and a simple, transparent and fast system was created for the industries. This also strengthened the implementation of the MOU signed during the Rising Rajasthan Investment Global Summit.

To promote the MSME sector, the process of land conversion in urban areas was simplified. By amending Rule 90, the time limit has been reduced from 60 days to 30 working days, after which automatic approval will be given. This has accelerated the establishment of new units.

Improvement in pollution control sector also

There has also been a big improvement in the field of pollution control. The deadline for CTE and CTO for MSMEs has been reduced from 120 days to 21 days, while for large industries it has been fixed at 60 days. The units following the rules are now being given the facility of auto-renewal on the basis of self-certification. Also, the number of non-polluting white category industries has been increased from 104 to 877.

Changes in factory rules also

Giving relief to small businessmen, the Shops and Commercial Establishment Act has been amended. Establishments with up to 10 employees have been exempted from many rules. Increasing working hours and increasing overtime limits have provided flexibility to industries. By changing factory rules, women have also been allowed to work in many risky jobs.

New impetus to industrial development

Reforms in fire NOC, road width, parking rules and land use have given new impetus to industrial development. Apart from this, decisions like Transit Oriented Development Policy and Public Trust Amendment Ordinance 2025 have given a boost to urban development and decriminalization.

The portal is equipped with AI chatbot

The state’s single window portal RajNivesh is now equipped with an AI chatbot, which provides quick information and assistance to investors. Through these reforms, Rajasthan has established itself as a trustworthy state for investment and business.
