Kuldeep Yadav Meets Lionel Messi on GOAT India Tour 2025

In a recent turn of events, Kuldeep Yadav received an extraordinary opportunity as he got to be in the same frame with the football legend Lionel Messi during the ‘GOAT India Tour 2025’. Besides Messi and Rodrigo De Paul, the Indian men’s cricket team player was also present at the special photo shoot for a leading global sport brand with India women’s fast bowler Renuka Thakur.

Lionel Messi opened his GOAT India Tour in Kolkata by revealing a statue of himself at Salt Lake Stadium. Later on, he was casually playing on the ground with his teammates Luis Suarez and Rodrigo.
Then, he proceeded to Hyderabad where the Chief Minister of Telangana, Revanth Reddy, joined the fun celebrations with him.

After that, he was in Mumbai where he took part in a celebrity meet-and-greet at the Cricket Club of India and then made a visit to the famous Wankhede Stadium. The whole area from Marine Drive to local train stations was festooned with banners and jerseys as a tribute to Messi.

Thousand of fans were chanting the name of Messi and giving him a warm welcome at Wankhede Stadium. He met the cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar during the evening, which made the moment even more special. Tendulkar presented Messi with a signed Indian jersey from the 2011 World Cup.
Messe’s visit to India came to an end with a trip to Vantara, Anant Ambani’s animal rescue and conservation centre at Jamnagar. He participated in traditional rituals, met the conservation teams, and spent time with the rescued animals thus, marking his historical tour of India with a meaningful climax.
