The film continues to do well at the box office and in just 13 days of its release, it has crossed the figure of Rs 600 crore worldwide. In India too, the film has earned more than Rs 400 crore, making it one of the biggest films of the year.
After the tremendous performance in theatres, now a big update related to OTT regarding ‘Dhurandhar’ has come out. According to a post by Ravi Chaudhary, associated with the film trade, on the social media platform X, the OTT rights of the film have been sold to Netflix, which has sparked a new debate in the industry.
Netflix bought OTT rights of ‘Dhurandhar’
It has been claimed in Ravi Chaudhary’s post that the OTT rights of ‘Dhurandhar’ have been sold for Rs 285 crore. According to the post, sources say that with this deal, Ranveer Singh’s film has set a new benchmark on Netflix. In comparison, earlier ‘Pushpa 2’ had reportedly sold its OTT rights to Netflix for around Rs 275 crore, which was considered a big record at that time. But now ‘Dhurandhar’ has crossed that figure and created a new all-time OTT record for Netflix.

Huge demand even before theater release
It is further written in the post that even before the full theatrical release of ‘Dhurandhar’, its huge demand, hype and global appeal was visible. Netflix’s big bet on this film also reflects its growing confidence, which seems to be skyrocketing at the moment.

If we talk about the earnings of the film, then Akshay Khanna, Arjun Rampal, Rakesh Bedi and Sara Arjun are seen in important roles in this Ranveer Singh film released on 5th December.
In 13 days, the film has earned Rs 664.5 crore worldwide at the box office. The film, made with a budget of Rs 250 crore, has achieved a net collection of Rs 437.25 crore in India.
