FIFA World Cup- FIFA World Cup winner will get so much reward, you will be shocked to hear

Friends, recently the Indian women’s cricket team created history by winning the ICC Women’s World Cup in 2025, for which they got a reward of Rs 40 crore, but if we talk about the FIFA World Cup, you will be stunned to hear its reward amount.

The FIFA Council has announced a shock increase in prize money for the 2026 World Cup, which will be played in the United States, Canada and Mexico. The winning team of this World Cup will get $50 million (about ₹452 crore).

Huge increase in FIFA prize money

The $50 million prize money for the winner of the 2026 World Cup is $8 million more than the 2022 FIFA World Cup, where Argentina won $42 million (about ₹350 crore). The runner-up in the 2026 World Cup will also get $33 million (₹298 crore), making the total prize pool much larger.

Bigger and better: 48-team World Cup

The expansion of the tournament to 48 teams would make the 2026 World Cup the biggest World Cup in history. This massive growth is expected to significantly increase both the stakes and rewards, ensuring that the teams involved are well rewarded for their hard work.
