Bangladesh players did the hook step of the movie Dhurandhar, viral VIDEO created a ruckus

Actually, this celebration was seen after the 39-run victory over Sri Lanka in the last league match of Under 19 Asia Cup 2025 played on Friday (17 December). In the viral clip, six players of the Bangladesh under team are seen repeating the steps of the film song FA9LA, which is based on Akshay Khanna’s character Rehman Dacoit in the film.

It is worth noting that the Dhurandhar film has reportedly faced a ban in some Muslim-majority countries, while India-Bangladesh relations are also bitter at the moment. In such an environment, questions are being raised on social media regarding the timing of such a celebration.

Talking about the performance on the field, Bangladesh Under 19, batting first in this match, scored 225 runs in 46.3 overs. Opener Javed Abrar played a quick inning of 49 runs in 36 balls, while Rifaat Baig added 36 runs and captain Azizul Hakim Tamim added 29 runs. Kavija Gameja took 4 wickets in this innings for Sri Lanka.

Chasing the target, Sri Lankan team was all out for 186 runs in 49.1 overs. Chamika Heenathigala scored 41 runs and Adam Hilmi scored 39 runs, but wickets falling at regular intervals dashed the team’s hopes. With this win, Bangladesh Under 19 made it to the semi-finals, where they will face Pakistan on Friday (December 19).
