New Delhi: The pictures of the ongoing Under-19 Asia Cup in Dubai have changed due to rain. The first semi-final match between India and Sri Lanka is being delayed due to rain. Water has accumulated on the ground and due to the wet outfield there are difficulties in starting the game.
Similarly, the second semi-final between Pakistan and Bangladesh has also been affected by the weather. If both these matches are cancelled, then which team will reach the finals? Know the complete details of the rules.
current match status
The match between India and Sri Lanka has not yet started due to rain at the ICC Cricket Academy Ground. The toss has also been delayed and after inspection the chances of the game starting are looking slim. The deadline to start the 20-over match has been set for 3:30 pm, but the weather is not improving. Remember that there is no reserve day in both the semi-finals, so if play is not possible, the decision will be taken on the basis of group stage performance.
What will happen if the match is cancelled?
According to the tournament rules, if no ball is bowled in the semi-finals and the match is cancelled, the team that performs better in the group stage will advance to the finals.

- If the match between Pakistan and Bangladesh is cancelled, Bangladesh will go to the final as they topped Group B, while Pakistan were second in Group A.
- If both the semi-finals are cancelled, the final will be between India and Bangladesh. The final will be played on 21 December.
