Moradabad.A shocking news has come out from Rani Nagal village of Bhagatpur block, which has created a stir in the entire district administration. 92 people living in the village for a long time are suspected to be Rohingyas. These people have been identified as doubtful voters. The most surprising thing is that their names are already registered in the voter list of the assembly. Now considering the seriousness of this matter, the administration has started investigation.

What happened?

Complaints have been received that 92 people living in the village are Rohingya. These people have been settled here as a nomadic caste for a long time. After the complaint, it was found that their names were already included in the voter list. New facts have emerged in the investigation of documents, which have further deepened the suspicion.

When was it revealed?

This matter came to light when the work of revision of voter list for Gram Panchayat elections was going on in the village. During this process, documents were scrutinized at the time of SIR (Special Intensive Revision) and mapping. Just before the Panchayat elections, this revelation has shocked everyone.

Where did the incident happen?

This entire incident took place in Rani Nagal village located in Bhagatpur block of Moradabad district. These suspicious people have been living here for a long time. There is an atmosphere of concern and anger among the villagers regarding this matter.

Who Involved?

The complainant is former head of the village Saidul Hasan. He gave a written complaint to the district administration, in which he described these people as suspects. After receiving the complaint, District Magistrate Anuj Singh took immediate action and handed over the investigation of the entire matter to SDM Sadar. The administration team is now thoroughly examining the documents of all these 92 doubtful voters.

Why did suspicion increase?

These people have been living in the village for a long time, but many flaws were found in their documents. Investigation revealed that 10 of these people had given information about being former residents of another district of Western Uttar Pradesh as their address. The biggest doubt is how their names got included in the voter list without complete investigation. Villagers fear that they might be infiltrating the voter list illegally.

How is the investigation going on?

As soon as the complaint was received, District Magistrate Anuj Singh handed over the responsibility of investigation to SDM Sadar. The administration says that the matter is being looked at with full sensitivity. The identity cards, domicile certificates and other documents of all the suspects are being closely scrutinized. There will be no negligence and strict action will be taken based on whatever facts come to light.

Secret revealed due to complaint of former head

Former head Saidul Hasan clearly said in his complaint that some people have been living in the village for a long time, but they seem suspicious. On his complaint the administration came into action and the investigation process started. Villagers say that such people have suddenly settled in the village and are now included in the voter list, which is a matter of concern.

Suspicion deepened due to name being registered in voter list

The shocking thing is that these 92 suspected people live as nomadic caste, but their names were found already registered in the assembly voter list. This increased the doubt as to how their identities were verified. This thing came to light during the review, which made the whole matter serious.

New revelations in the investigation of documents

When the documents were checked during SIR and mapping, many inconsistencies were found. In particular, the addresses of 10 people were shown to be from other districts, which did not match with their original residence. This is raising questions whether these people are real residents or have come from outside.

Ruckus before Panchayat elections

Preparations for Gram Panchayat elections are in full swing and revision of voter list is going on. Meanwhile, this revelation came to light, due to which anger spread in the village. The villagers want that the names of fake voters should be removed immediately, so that the elections are fair.

Administration’s strict stance and assurance

The district administration has made it clear that there will be no negligence at any level. All the documents are being thoroughly examined. District Magistrate Anuj Singh said, “The complaint has been received and investigation has been handed over to SDM Sadar. The documents and residence of the suspected voters are being thoroughly investigated. According to the facts that come to light, action will be taken as per rules.”

This matter is very sensitive and the administration is working with full alertness. Only after the investigation is completed will it become clear whether this is just a suspicion or a case of major infiltration. At present it has become a topic of discussion in the village and people are waiting for the investigation report.
