Property worth crores of many stars including Yuvraj Singh and Sonu Sood seized in 1x bet case

Taking major action in the 1x Bet App case related to illegal online betting, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) has seized assets worth crores of rupees of many famous film stars and former cricket players. After this action there has been a stir in the entertainment and sports world. The names of famous personalities whose properties have been seized include actress Urvashi Rautela, actor Sonu Sood, actress Mimi Chakraborty, former Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh, Robin Uthappa, Ankush Hazara and actress Neha Sharma.

Yuvraj Singh’s property worth about Rs 2.5 crore seized

All of them have been accused of being involved in the promotion of illegal betting apps for a long time. According to information received from sources, ED has seized property worth about Rs 2.5 crore of Yuvraj Singh. Whereas Robin Uthappa’s property worth Rs 8.26 lakh has been seized. In the case of actress Urvashi Rautela, property worth Rs 2.02 crore has been seized, which was registered in her mother’s name.

ED has also taken possession of actor Sonu Sood’s property worth Rs 1 crore, Mimi Chakraborty’s property worth Rs 59 lakh, Ankush Hazara’s property worth Rs 47.20 lakh and Neha Sharma’s property worth Rs 1.26 crore. In this latest action, total assets worth Rs 7.93 crore have been seized.

Properties of Shikhar Dhawan and Suresh Raina have been confiscated

Even before this, ED has taken strict action in this matter. The investigating agency had earlier seized the properties of former Indian cricket team players Shikhar Dhawan and Suresh Raina. Shikhar Dhawan’s property worth about Rs 4.55 crore and Suresh Raina’s property worth about Rs 6.64 crore have already been seized. Till now, ED has seized total assets worth Rs 19.07 crore in the case related to 1x Bet App.

It is being told that many other online betting apps including 1x Bet are accused of cheating people of crores of rupees. Investigative agencies became active after it came to light that famous faces were involved in the promotion of these apps. In the past months, ED had interrogated many celebrities including Suresh Raina, Yuvraj Singh, Sonu Sood for hours.

Now after the seizure of the properties, it has become clear that the investigating agency is pursuing this case seriously. At present the investigation is going on and it is expected that more revelations will be made in this case in the coming days.
