BJP slammed TMC, said – this is an anti-Hindu party!

Bengal BJP on Thursday shared the viral video of Kamarhati TMC MLA Madan Mitra from its official X handle and called it an insult to Hindu culture. In the video, Madan Mitra is seen making controversial remarks on Lord Ram in a public meeting. (Note: UPUKLive has not confirmed the authenticity of this video.)

BJP wrote in the post – “Our culture and history are being insulted continuously. This is a clear message to the infiltrator Bangladeshis that TMC is the biggest anti-Hindu party and this is what represents their ideology.” The party also challenged TMC to take immediate action against Madan Mitra.

TMC shrugged it off, said – we believe in Ramayana and Ayodhya

Seeing the growing controversy, TMC immediately distanced itself from its MLA. Senior party spokesperson Kunal Ghosh clearly said, “We all know about Ramayana and Ayodhya. We do not want to comment on what Madan Mitra is saying.” That is, the party directly distanced itself from this statement.

Madan Mitra himself has maintained silence on this matter till now. But sources close to him have claimed that the viral video is completely fake and fabricated.
