Today, due to rain, the match between India and Sri Lanka was played only for 20-20 overs, where after the brilliant performance of the Indian fast bowlers, the Indian middle order batsmen showed a brilliant game.

For Team India, captain Ayush Mhatre and young Vaibhav Suryavanshi started the innings, but both could not do anything special. Captain Ayush Mhatre went out after scoring 7 runs, while Vaibhav Suryavanshi was out after scoring only 9 runs. Both the opener batsmen of India had returned to the pavilion on 25 runs, but after this Team India made a comeback.

India’s vice-captain Vihaan Malhotra and number 3’s most reliable batsman Aaron George handled the innings, both of them remained unbeaten till the end and gave victory to Team India with 12 balls remaining.

Aaron George played an inning of 58 runs in 49 balls with the help of 4 fours and one six, while Vihaan Malhotra played an inning of 61 runs in 45 balls, in which he hit 4 fours and two sixes.

For Sri Lanka, Rasith Nimsara took only 2 wickets, although during this period he spent 31 runs in 4 overs and was the most economical bowler.
