Dairy businessman murdered in South Delhi; 69 bullets found in the body

The police is considering the brutal murder of dairy businessman Ratan in Fatehpur Beri area of ​​South Delhi as a well-planned and cold-blooded conspiracy. Investigation has revealed that the attackers had come from Faridabad and had been waiting at the spot for about 30 minutes before the incident. According to police sources, a total of 69 bullets have been recovered from Ratan’s body and the involvement of 12 to 13 people is suspected in this murder.

The incident is said to have happened on 30th November. According to family members, Ratan was going to the dairy in Aya Nagar for his daily work, when he was surrounded and opened fire. The family claims that the attackers fired more than 70 rounds, due to which Ratan died on the spot.

Ratan’s brother Ram Kumar told that the family was already anticipating danger. “After the May incident, Ratan was receiving constant death threats. He told me he was going to the dairy and within just 10 minutes he was brutally murdered,” he said. Another family member, Dharmendra, alleged that the attackers had conducted recce and surveillance of the area before the incident. “We learned that the attackers had come in a car and a motorcycle and kept circling the area waiting for their target,” he said.

The family claims that the murder is the result of an old land dispute and family enmity. It is being told that about six months ago, Ratan’s son Deepak was accused of murdering a person, after which he was arrested. After this incident, tension had increased between the two families, which has reportedly now transformed into retaliatory violence.

A senior police officer admitted that the possibility of personal rivalry behind the murder could not be ruled out, although he clarified that the investigation was being done from all angles. Also, the role of any relative of the person who was allegedly murdered by Deepak is also being investigated.

At present no arrest has been made in this case. Police are thoroughly examining CCTV footage, vehicle movement and forensic evidence to identify the attackers. The investigating agencies are also trying to find out how such a large number of weapons and bullets were collected and how the attackers carried out the crime in such a well-planned manner.

This sensational murder in South Delhi has become a cause of panic in the area. Police say that the investigation has been intensified to reach the accused soon, while Ratan’s family is demanding justice.
