Nagar Panchayat Uska Bazar has started the arrangement of lighting bonfires at more than a dozen public places in the city to protect the passersby from the cold during the cold nights of December. They have started arrangements for lighting bonfires at more than a dozen public places including near the police picket on Uska Raja Bypass of the city, near the hospital, taxi stand, State Bank, Fish Mandi Road and Police Station Road, in front of the night shelter near the block office. The Nagar Panchayat is making arrangements to light bonfires by loading wood at marked places every evening on a tractor. Now people are feeling a lot of relief at night due to the burning of bonfires.
