Bumper good news for the youth of UP in the new year: 1.5 lakh government jobs are coming, Yogi government has made a record breaking plan.

Lucknow, Read: The year 2026 is going to prove to be historic for the youth of the state in terms of employment. Under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the state government is going to start the recruitment process for more than 1.5 lakh government jobs next year. With this, the record of providing 10 lakh government jobs in 10 years is going to be recorded in the name of Yogi government, which will be for the first time in the history of the state.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has sought updates and department-wise details of vacant posts from all the departments in a high-level review meeting held recently. Based on this, a mega recruitment calendar is being prepared for the year 2026. The government’s focus is on those departments where posts are vacant for a long time and which have a direct impact on law and order, education and public services.

According to government preparations, in the year 2026, maximum recruitment will be in Police and Education Department. Appointments are proposed for about 50-50 thousand posts in both the departments. 30 thousand constables, 5 thousand sub inspector (SI) and 15 thousand other posts will be recruited in the police department. There will be large-scale appointments in the education department for posts like assistant teachers, lecturers and principals.

Apart from this, there will be about 20 thousand posts in the Revenue Department, most of which will be of accountants. The recruitment process for about 8 thousand posts has also started. Recruitment will be done on more than 30 thousand posts in health, housing development, prison and child development nutrition departments together. With this mega recruitment scheme of 2026, Uttar Pradesh will not only set a new example in the field of employment, but will also become the first state in the country to give opportunity to 10 lakh youth in government service in a decade.

Confidence of youth increased due to corruption free recruitment

In the last eight and a half years, the Yogi government has given government jobs to more than eight and a half lakh youth. Due to transparency in recruitment process, technology based selection and strict monitoring, paper leaks and corruption have been effectively curbed. This is the reason why the trust of the youth on the recruitment boards and the government has continuously strengthened.
