Suryakumar Yadav said on the use of Jasprit Bumrah

Suryakumar Yadav gave the ball to Jasprit Bumrah for the first time in the 5th over and then brought him into the attack in the 11th over. In the same over he dismissed Quinton de Kock. When Surya was asked about this in the post match presentation, he said that he brought Bumrah late due to strategy. He said,

“It was the same thing, the kind of cricket we wanted to play, the result is in front of us. This spirited effort was missing till now. Glad we were able to repeat that. We wanted Bumrah to bowl one over in the power play, one over in the middle after the drinks break and then one over at the end.”
