T20 World Cup 2026: There is big news for cricket fans. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) will announce Team India for the T20 World Cup 2026 and the home T20 series against New Zealand on 20 December 2025. This announcement will be made at BCCI headquarters in Mumbai. Chief selector Ajit Agarkar and T20 captain Suryakumar Yadav will announce the team in the press conference.
Date and place of announcement
The meeting of BCCI’s Senior Men’s Selection Committee will be held in Mumbai on 20th December. After the meeting the press conference will start at 1:30 pm. In this, only one team will be selected for the five-match T20 series against New Zealand and the T20 World Cup starting in February 2026.
Let us tell you, this World Cup will be co-hosted by India and Sri Lanka, where India will play its first match against America on 7th February in Mumbai.
