Haryana Weather: The weather in Haryana is getting colder day by day. The minimum temperature in the state has been recorded as low as 3 degrees Celsius in many areas. A new Western Disturbance is being said to be the reason behind the continuous change in the weather, due to which there are indications of cloud cover, light rain and further increase in cold in the coming days.
Weather will remain dry till December 20
According to Dr. Madan Lal Khichad, Chairman of the Agricultural Meteorological Department of HAU Hisar, the weather in Haryana will remain dry and changeable till December 20. During this period, cold winds of light to moderate speed will blow from the north and north-western directions, due to which a drop in night temperature may be recorded. According to the Meteorological Department, partial effect of western disturbance will be seen during this period, due to which it may be cloudy at times.
Cold wave effect from December 22
According to IMD, the outbreak of cold wave may start in the state from December 22. During this period, there is a possibility of light rain in some areas along with cloud cover. Due to rain and cold winds, there can be a rapid drop in temperature, which will further increase the effect of cold.
Cold will increase from 20-21 December
There is a possibility of cloudy weather during the day from 20th and 21st December, which will further increase the cold. Its effect can be clearly seen in many districts including Gurugram, Faridabad, Sonipat. After this, there will be a rapid change in the weather on 22nd December and the cold phase may become more severe.
Light rain expected on 23–24 December
A slight increase in temperature is possible on December 23, but it will remain cloudy and there may be light rain in many areas. There is a possibility of increase in fog and chill due to rain. At the same time, on December 24, due to the weak effect of western disturbance, there may be light drizzle in some areas, which may further increase the cold. There is a possibility of cold winds blowing in the districts adjacent to the hilly areas.

The weather in Haryana may remain cold and humid on 25th December i.e. Christmas day. There is a possibility of dense fog in the morning, while the day temperature may remain below normal.
Relief may be available from December 26
There are indications of clear weather on December 26, although fog may persist in the morning. A slight increase in temperature is possible, which may give people some relief from the cold.
