Gorakhpur school becomes arena! Dispute started between principal and cook regarding mid-day meal, fierce ‘wrestling’ took place

Gorakhpur: A temple of education in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh was transformed into a wrestling arena. The surprising thing is that the scuffle did not take place between the school children but between the principal and the cook. Let us tell you that the dispute between the two started over insects being found in children’s mid-day meal. Within no time, a scuffle broke out between the two, after which both of them fell into the pit and started fighting. The video of both of them wrestling is going viral on social media. Expressing strong displeasure over the incident, BSA has said that the matter will be investigated.

First debate, then wrestling

The incident is being reported from Uswa Babu Higher Secondary School of Khajni police station area of ​​Gorakhpur. On Tuesday, insects were found in the mid-day meal meant for children. When food was served to the children, they refused to eat. When Principal Rita Arya questioned cook Gunja Devi about this, a dispute broke out between the two. First there was an altercation between the two which turned into a scuffle and within no time the school turned into an arena.

The matter escalated so much that the principal and the cook fell into a pit outside the school while fighting. In the video viral on social media, both are seen hitting and tossing each other in the pit. At the same time, the people present at the spot are seen separating the two.

Principal and cook accused each other

Principal Rita Arya alleges that such actions are taken daily to remove her from charge. He made a big allegation and said that the cook pressures him to convert to Christianity and leaves school and goes to preach religion. At the same time, cook Gunja Devi alleged that Principal Rita used to give bad food to cook. The cook also accused the principal of torture and abusing her.

BSA ordered investigation

BSA Basic Education Officer Dhirendra Tripathi said regarding the incident that the video is being investigated. He said that the matter is being investigated by two divisional education officers. Further action will be taken only after investigation. Meanwhile, BEO Sawan Dubey expressed concern over the incident and said that such incidents in the school are shameful. Strict action will be taken against the cook and the principal.
