Patna. The government has taken an important and commendable step for the policemen in Bihar. State Deputy Chief Minister and Home Minister Samrat Chaudhary has made several big announcements regarding the welfare of the police force, which will not only provide relief to the policemen but will also secure the future of their families.
Residential schools will open in police lines
Deputy CM Samrat Chaudhary has announced that residential schools will be opened for the children of policemen in all the police lines of the state. In these schools, all the necessary facilities related to children’s dress and education will be provided by the Bihar government. He said that there are frequent transfers of policemen, due to which the education of children is affected the most. With the opening of residential schools, this problem will be solved to a great extent and children will be able to get a stable and better educational environment.
Food system will improve in police lines
The Deputy CM also announced that kitchen arrangements will be started through Jeevika Didis to overcome the problem of food in police lines. This system will soon be implemented in all the districts of the state. With this, policemen will get clean, accessible and nutritious food, while rural women will also get new employment opportunities.
Assistance to the families of deceased policemen
During the program, Samrat Chaudhary also distributed insurance money to the families of 36 deceased policemen. He said that the government is making serious efforts to reduce the deaths of policemen due to accidents and diseases. He emotionally said that the government understands the pain of the families who have lost their loved ones and stands with them to provide all possible assistance.
