Four BJP supporters died in train accident, PM Modi expressed deep sorrow

BJP supporters who were going to attend Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s meeting in West Bengal Canada were hit by a train. Of these, four died, while one person was seriously injured and is undergoing treatment in the hospital. This accident happened on Saturday morning. These BJP supporters were going to participate in PM Modi’s meeting in Taherpur, Nadia. Then a tragic accident happened on the way. The accident happened near Taherpur station. It has been learned that all the deceased and injured are residents of Murshidabad. However, due to fog on Saturday, PM Modi’s helicopter could not land in Taherpur and PM Modi addressed the gathering over phone.

PM expressed condolences on his demise

He said that first of all I apologize to you that due to bad weather I could not be present among you. Due to fog there were no conditions for helicopters to land, so I am addressing you through telephone.

He said that I have also received information that due to bad weather while reaching the rally venue, some workers of the BJP family have become victims of a train accident. My condolences to the families of those BJP workers who died tragically. I wish for the speedy recovery of those who were injured in this accident. In this hour of grief, we are with all the affected families.

Four BJP supporters died

According to railway sources, the accident happened between Tahirpur and Badkulla. BJP supporters were going to the meeting place from the railway track. At that very moment this accident happened. The injured have been admitted to Shaktinagar Hospital.

Ramprasad Ghosh (74), Muktipada Sutradhar (55) and Gopinath Das (35) died on the spot in the accident. All three live in Baryan police station area. Bhairav ​​Ghosh (47) died after being taken to the hospital in critical condition. Another person has also been seriously injured in this incident, who is undergoing treatment.
