Lucknow. Codeine Cough Syrup Smuggling Case has now become not only legal but also political. The ruling and main opposition parties are continuously making statements against each other on the pretext of codeine. Earlier, Yogi government had attacked Akhilesh Yadav by sharing the picture of dismissed STF constable Alok Singh. Now on Saturday, Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav has given a press conference and responded to each and every allegation. He said that the people who are seen in the picture with me, get bulldozers working on their houses.

SP President Akhilesh Yadav has targeted Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath in a press conference in Lucknow on Saturday. Also alleged that the government is hiding a lot in this matter. He said that as far as his photograph is concerned, his photograph is also with the Chief Minister.

Let us tell you that on Friday, CM Yogi Adityanath pointed out the connection of SP in the cough syrup case and while writing poetry, he took a dig at Akhilesh Yadav and said that ‘dust kept cleaning the mirror on the face…’. Now Akhilesh Yadav also responded to his statement in the same manner and said, ‘You did not wipe your face, you broke the mirror without any reason..’

SP President said that the government is hiding many things regarding codeine. Many pictures are being shown. If we take the pictures to be true and if the person standing with me is a mafia, then my picture is also with the Chief Minister and both the Deputy CMs. My picture is also with the other half.

Akhilesh Yadav again took a jibe at Yogi while writing poetry and said, “This was his fault that he kept feeding other people’s children in his lap to show off, but in the greed of money he kept putting the lives of other children at stake. This was his fault, he kept protecting his own at all costs, kept hiding their sins, when his secrets started getting exposed, he kept blaming others.

He said that you can imagine that such a big racket is going on in the Prime Minister’s area. The big question is that this was going on from the PM’s parliamentary constituency. This is not an issue of Rs 100-200 crore but an international issue, when they themselves start getting into trouble, then by showing the picture they are telling them that it is of SP. Akhilesh Yadav said that if the accused are associated with SP, then I am demanding on behalf of Samajwadi Party that whoever is associated with SP, be it Kaleen Bhaiya, Codeen Bhaiya, bulldozer should be used on all of them. Bulldozers should be used against all those who have gambled away thousands of crores. During this, he said that there is a very important thing in the developments going on regarding codeine which the government is hiding. More than 118 FIRs were registered in 36 districts and black trade of cough syrup was going on in UP.

Akhilesh Yadav said that the STF investigating the illegal and poisonous cough syrup case is also in touch with illegal businessmen. No action has been taken yet.
