Last day passed, Hijab wearing Dr. Nusrat did not join the job, now Nitish government took this decision

Bihar Hijab Controversy Dr Nusrat Parveen Joining Status: The hijab episode between Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and Dr Nusrat Parveen in Bihar has attracted the attention of the entire country. Everyone’s eyes were on whether Nusrat would join her new job. Saturday was her last day of joining, but she did not reach till evening. Amidst this suspense, the State Health Committee has now taken a big step. Considering the seriousness of the matter, the government has extended the joining date.

On Saturday, there was hustle and bustle from Civil Surgeon office of Patna to Sabalpur Primary Health Centre. There were speculations since morning that Nusrat Parveen might take over the duty. Close sources had also claimed that she would join, but she was kept waiting till 6 pm. She neither gave any information to the department nor reached the office with the appointment letter. His absence has given rise to new questions in this entire matter.

Civil surgeon explained the rules and procedure

Patna Civil Surgeon Dr. Avinash Kumar Singh was present in his office the whole day. Talking to the media at around 2 pm, he told that if Nusrat Parveen had come, the joining letter would have been issued after scrutiny of her documents. It was with this letter that he had to go to the allotted hospital. He clarified that the time was fixed till 6 pm on Saturday. The other five doctors completed the procedure and took over their responsibilities, but Nusrat did not reach there.

Health department gave new extension

Dr. Vijay Kumar, in-charge of Sabalpur Primary Health Center also confirmed that Nusrat Parveen had not reported. Generally, joining the hospital happens only after receiving the letter from the Civil Surgeon Office. Meanwhile, the State Health Committee, taking an important decision, has extended the last date for joining of AYUSH doctors. Now Dr. Nusrat Parveen has time till 31 December 2025. It will be interesting to see whether she joins the job after this new extension given by the government or not.
