Damian Priest starts the show
Damian Priest started this week’s show and said that before we begin this show, we should thank John Cena. After that, he mentioned how he and Rhea Ripley defeated Aleister Black and Zelina Vega. As he was talking, he was interrupted by Zelina Vega, who said that it was not over. As she was talking, Priest was attacked from behind by Aleister Black. This segment ended with Black putting Priest through the wooden table.
Kabuki Warriors vs Nia Jax and Lash Legend
Asuka and Kairi Sane, the Kabuki Warriors, faced Nia Jax and Lash Legend in a tag team match. This match went on for 15+ minutes, and towards the end of the match, Nia Jax delivered an Annihilator to Sane, and with that, she secured the victory for her team via pinfall.
After the match, Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss came out and attacked Jax and Legend. This segment ended with Flair and Bliss putting the women’s tag team division on notice that they are coming for the Women’s Tag Team Championships.
Giulia vs Alba Fyre
Chelsea Green stated that if Giulia wants to face her for the Women’s United States Championship, she has to go through Alba Fyre. So on this episode of SmackDown, Giulia faced Albla Fyre in a one-on-one match. This match went on for 15+ minutes, and at the end, Giulia delivered a Northern Lights Bomb on Fyre to secure the victory in this match via pinfall.
Cody Rhodes addresses Drew McIntyre
After Cody Rhodes attacked Drew McIntyre at his home, he came out in this week’s episode and addressed his situation with McIntyre. Rhodes stated that he understands what he has done after he attacked McIntyre at his home. As he was talking, he was interrupted by the SmackDown General Manager, Nick Aldis.
Aldis came out and said, Rhodes might be the champion, but he is not above the law. Aldis further stated that when McIntyre comes back, Rhodes cannot touch him, and if he does, his WWE Championship will be forcibly stripped. After that, Rhodes stated that “he is the law”, and he does not work for him; he works for the WWE universe. He further stated, and one thing “Aldis, your work for me”.
Ilja Dragunov & Carmelo Hayes vs DIY
After Carmelo Hayes saved Dragunov last week, both Carmelo and Dragunov faced Tommaso Ciampa and Johnny Gargano in a tag team match. This match was one of the best matches of the entire night, went on for 15+ minutes. This match received “This is Aewsome” chants from the WWE universe multiple times. Towards the end of the match, Carmelo delivered a Nothing But Nets on Ciampa to secure the win for his team via pinfall.
Wyatt Sicks vs MFT
The main event of this week’s SmackDown was a tag team match, where the Wyatt Sicks defended their WWE Tag Team Championships against Solo Sikoa’s MFT. This match went on for 15+ minutes and had many outside interference, which ultimately led this match to end in a disqualification. After the disqualification, the whole segment turned into an all-out brawl. This week’s SmackDown went off the air with every single member of MFT and Wyatt Sicks attacking each other.
