Malayalam cinema legend Srinivasan passes away

Sad news is continuously coming from Mayanagari, and this time a very sad news has come out from Malayalam cinema. Famous actor, writer, director and producer Sreenivasan passed away recently. His age was 69 years.

According to the information, Srinivasan was suffering from health related problems for a long time. He was undergoing treatment at his residence in Udayamperur in Ernakulam district of Kerala. Suddenly his condition deteriorated, after which he was admitted to a hospital in Thrippunithura, where doctors declared him brought dead.

Srinivasan was born on 6 April 1956 in Pattayam near Thalassery, Kerala. His real name was Srinivasan Nair. His father was a school teacher and mother a housewife. He received his education from Kadirur and a bachelor’s degree in Economics from PRNSS College, Mattanur. After this he studied film from the Film and Television Institute of Chennai.

Beginning of film career

After completing his studies, Srinivasan entered the Malayalam film industry as a screenplay writer in the 80s. He received his P.A. in 1977. Started his acting career with Backer’s film *Manimuzhakkam*. Over the last nearly five decades, he acted in more than 225 films.
