Simple worship method of Vinayaka Chaturthi
By worshiping with proper rituals on the day of Vinayaka Chaturthi, one receives special blessings of Lord Ganesha and obstacles in life are removed. On this day, wake up early in the morning and take bath and wear clean red or yellow colored clothes. After this, take a pledge to fast and clean the place of worship and install the idol or picture of Lord Ganesha.
Anoint Lord Ganesha with Ganga water and offer him vermillion, Akshat, sandalwood and sacred thread. Offer 21 Durva and his favorite modak or laddu to Bappa. Chant the mantra ‘Om Gan Ganpataye Namah’ during the puja. At the end, recite Ganesh Chalisa and perform Aarti.
