UP STF kills goon siraj ahmad with bounty of one lakh rupees in Saharanpur
Saharanpur. Another notorious criminal has been killed in UP. In Gangoh, Western UP, UPSTF killed criminal Siraj Ahmed, son of Mansoor Ahmed, carrying a reward of Rs 1 lakh, in an encounter on the intervening night of Saturday and Sunday. According to the information given by UPSTF, intelligence was received that a criminal named Siraj Ahmed is present in Gangoh police station area of Saharanpur. Siraj had reached Saharanpur from Punjab-Haryana border to commit some criminal act. On receiving intelligence, UPSTF surrounded him.

UPSTF asked Siraj Ahmed, carrying a reward of Rs 1 lakh, to surrender. On this the miscreant turned and started firing at the police. UPSTF soldiers retaliated and fired on it. In which the criminal Siraj Ahmed was injured on the spot. He was declared dead when taken to the hospital. Siraj Ahmed was originally a resident of Lolepur police station area of Sultanpur district of UP. A bike, 0.30 bore pistol, 0.32 bore pistol and a large number of cartridges were recovered from him. There were 30 cases registered against him. Siraj Ahmed was also accused of shooting dead Sultanpur court lawyer Azad Ahmed on August 8, 2023. Action was also taken against him under NSA.

Before Siraj Ahmed, UP Police had killed more than 200 criminals in a swift encounter. Apart from this, thousands of miscreants have also been caught in police action. After assuming power in 2017, UP CM Yogi Adityanath had given a free hand to the UP Police to deal with the miscreants. After which UP Police and UPSTF took charge. There is such a fear of the police among the miscreants of UP that hundreds of them considered it appropriate to surrender and go to jail. CM Yogi Adityanath has clearly said that either the miscreants should leave the state, or be prepared to be shot by the police. With the death of criminal Siraj Ahmed carrying a reward of Rs 1 lakh, his terror has now ended in many districts.
