Rajasthan News: It is a matter of pride for Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan, that Jaipur will host the 78th Army Day Parade to be held in the year 2026. Addressing the joint curtain raiser program organized on this occasion, CM Bhajanlal Sharma said that Army Day is a symbol of India’s glorious history, honor and self-respect. This day provides us an opportunity to pay tribute to the unmatched bravery, strict discipline, incomparable sacrifice and unwavering patriotism of the Indian Army.

Indian Army is a strong shield of country’s security: CM

CM Bhajanlal Sharma said that the Indian Army has always protected the country’s borders from mountains to deserts. He said that from 1947-48 to the Indo-Pak wars of 1965, 1971, Kargil war of 1999 and recent military operations, the Indian Army has faced every challenge with courage and determination. The Chief Minister said that Rajasthan is a land of bravery, where stories of bravery and sacrifice are present in every part of it.

Army Day Parade will be held on Mahal Road of Jagatpura.

The Chief Minister informed that the Army Day Parade-2026 will be organized for the first time outside the limits of the military cantonment, among the common citizens on Mahal Road, Jagatpura. He said that this event will further strengthen the relationship of trust, engagement and respect between the Indian Army and civilians.

There will be a grand display of modern military power

Fly-past of fighter planes and helicopters, march of military contingents, drone technology and modern warfare capabilities will be showcased during the parade. This event will not only be a display of military might but will also strengthen the feeling of patriotism among the youth.

Tribute to the bravery of the army

On this occasion, Army Commander of Sapta Shakti Command, Lieutenant General Manjinder Singh said that the Indian Army has ensured the security of the country with its indomitable courage and bravery. He said that the army remains ready to protect the nation in every situation.

Chief Minister honored the brave women and ex-servicemen

During the program, CM Bhajanlal Sharma honored the brave hearts of Kirti Chakra awarded (posthumously) Naik Megh Raj Singh, Sena Medal awarded (posthumously) Havildar Ram Singh Shekhawat and Lance Naik Banshidhar Yadav. Along with this, he also honored retired Brigadier Jeevan Rajpurohit, Subedar Arjun Singh Rathore and Havildar Madan Singh Kajla.
