Protest against Aniruddhacharya for his comments on media, Hindu Mahasabha burnt effigy
Agra: The case of preacher Aniruddhacharya is continuously gaining momentum after his alleged objectionable remarks about the media during a religious sermon. After protests on social media, this controversy has now reached the streets. All India Hindu Mahasabha came out in support of the media and registered a strong protest by burning the symbolic effigy of Aniruddhacharya.

According to the information, Aniruddhacharya, the founder of Gaurigopal Ashram, had allegedly made an indecent comment during a public religious sermon, calling the media ‘Manthara’. After this statement came to light, anger spread among media persons across the district. Journalists and social organizations called it a direct attack on the media and the honor of daughters.
Hindu Mahasabha demonstration in Agra
On Tuesday, a protest was held in Agra under the banner of All India Hindu Mahasabha. Under the leadership of District President Meera Rathore and Metropolitan President Vishal Kumar, angry workers burnt the effigy of Aniruddhacharya. The protesters said that commenting on the honor of daughters and abusing the media will not be tolerated under any circumstances.
During the demonstration, the area echoed with slogans like “Hindustan will not tolerate insult to daughters”, “Stop insulting journalists” and “Hindu Mahasabha with media”. The workers showed solidarity in support of the media and gave a strong message.
Case registered, demand for social boycott
Leaders of Hindu Mahasabha said that on the orders of Mathura Court, a case has been registered against Aniruddhacharya in this case. Despite this, his statements are continuously fueling controversy. The organization openly demanded social boycott of Acharya along with burning of the effigy.
Hindu Mahasabha warned that those who play with the honor of daughters and media will be given a befitting reply, from the streets to the court. The leaders clearly said that if such statements come to light in future, the movement will be further intensified.
