The Ranveer Singh and Akshay Khanna starrer action-drama has performed impressively in its third week as well, with the film crossing the ₹500 crore mark in net collections. The film is now all set to enter the ₹1,000 crore club worldwide.

After the record-breaking first week of “Dhurandhar”, the excitement of the audience remains high. The film has maintained a strong hold in the multiplex and single-screen circuit and is set to continue this momentum over the weekend. The film is doing better than its first week, generating interest among the audience.

According to estimates by box office tracking website Sacknilk, “Dhurandhar” has collected ₹33.50 crore in India on Saturday 16th. On that day, the film went to around 5,398 shows across the country. The film had collected Rs 22.5 crore at the beginning of the third week on Friday, after which it increased on Saturday.

“Dhurandhar” collected ₹207.25 crore nett in its first week. Surprisingly, the film crossed this mark in the second week and has collected 253.25 crores. This has taken the total net collection of the film to approximately ₹460.5 crore in two weeks. Now, after a two-day opening in the third week, the film’s total collection has crossed ₹516.5 crore, establishing it as a super blockbuster. According to SACNILC statistics, the film has joined the ranks of the fastest collection-growing films in Hindi cinema.

2nd film to cross the Rs 500 crore mark

“Dhurandhar” has become the second fastest Hindi film to cross the Rs 500 crore mark. The record is currently held by Telugu blockbuster “Pushpa 2 – The Rule”, which achieved this milestone in just 11 days. But “Dhurandhar” has beaten Shah Rukh Khan’s “Jawaan” (18 days) and this year’s blockbuster “Chhawa” (23 days).

Total collection and worldwide business

As of the 16th day, the film has grossed approximately Rs 40.20 crore. Overall, its revenue in India has crossed Rs 700 crore and its total domestic revenue is approximately Rs 780 crore. According to trade reports, its overseas collection has reached approximately Rs 160 crore. Thus, the film’s total worldwide gross is approximately Rs 940 crore. Industry experts believe that at the current pace, ‘Dhurandhar’ will join the Rs 1000 crore worldwide club within a few days.
