Elon Musk’s artificial intelligence company xAI has launched a massive recruitment drive to look for Android engineers. The main objective of this initiative is to further improve the company’s chatbot Grok. This opportunity is available in London, New York, Palo Alto and San Francisco, with remote work also being offered.

Musk shared on his social media platform X that xAI needs Android engineers who can be part of a fast-paced team. The company aims to develop the world’s most valuable AI applications, for which it wants to recruit individuals with the best technical abilities to the team.

Requirements for candidates

Applicants for the position are required to have experience in Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and Reactive Programming. They should have knowledge of architecting large-scale production apps, strong product understanding, and the ability to develop intuitive user interfaces. Those who have previously developed excellent apps or features will have an added advantage.
