Political Controversy: What did Revanth Reddy, who was celebrating Christmas because of Sonia Gandhi, say?

News India Live, Digital Desk: Even the politics of our country sometimes becomes absolutely amazing. Meaning, no one can tell when the leader should say what and to whom he should give credit for what. Now the latest case has come from Telangana, where amid the joy of Christmas, such a bomb of statements has exploded that the political heat has increased there even in winter. What happened was that Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy had reached a grand Christmas program organized at LB Stadium in Hyderabad, there the atmosphere was completely set, Christmas carols were being sung, people were happy. CM Saheb came on the mike, but said something in such enthusiasm that BJP and social media got a new issue. After all, what is the ‘credit’ for? In his speech, Revanth Reddy called the month of December a ‘Miracle Month’ i.e. the month of miracles. Brother, listen to the logic too! He said that December is special because Lord Jesus was born in this month, Sonia Gandhi’s birthday (9th December) falls in this month and the formation of Telangana state was announced in this month. Till now everything was still fine. But the trouble came when he said something which is being interpreted as – “Today we are able to celebrate Christmas in Telangana, it is because of Sonia Gandhi. Reddy Saheb probably wanted to say that Sonia Gandhi made Telangana a separate state, hence today we are here celebrating with our government. He also said that Sonia Gandhi is an example in the matter of “sacrifice”, just like Christianity talks about service and sacrifice. Now you yourself Tell me, giving credit for God’s festival is a bit much, isn’t it? BJP said, ‘This is an insult!’ As soon as this video clip went viral, BJP leaders said that this is an insult to the Christian community. BJP leaders asked, “Did the world not celebrate Christmas before the birth of Sonia Gandhi? Will the Congress party now also take the credit for the birth of Lord Jesus? The opposition is directly calling it ‘sycophancy’. They believe that devotion should belong to the party, but people are not liking so much glorification of leaders on the platform of religion and faith. BJP spokespersons are saying on social media that Congress is trying to give credit for everything to the ‘Gandhi family’, be it independence or now… Christmas! The other side of the storyIn fact, for Telangana Congress, Sonia Gandhi is like the ‘Mother of Telangana’ (Telangana Talli).[7] Revanth Reddy was showing his loyalty. Perhaps his intention was not to insult the Christian community, but he was just pleasing his ‘boss’. But in politics, measured words have more value than intentions, which they missed this time. Now whether the cake is cut at LB Stadium or not, arguments are definitely going on on social media. The general public is also thinking that festivals are for everyone – they should have spared this one! Well, now it remains to be seen whether this controversy cools down as Christmas approaches or gets more heated.
