Earlier approvals included the SM-S948 (Galaxy S26 Ultra) and other models, indicating the necessary clearance before launch.
The flagship lineup—which includes the Galaxy S26, S26+, and the premium S26 Ultra—is rumored to launch at the Galaxy Unpacked event on February 25, 2026, probably in San Francisco. Availability in India is expected soon after.

It will probably be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset (overclocked for the Galaxy), with up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage.
The battery is expected to be 5,000mAh, with upgraded 60W wired and 20-25W wireless charging. Camera According to rumors, it will have a quad setup: 200MP primary, 50MP ultra-wide, dual telephoto (ie, 50MP 5x + 10MP). It may come with One UI 8.5 based on Android 16, in which advanced AI features will be emphasized.
In India, the S26 Ultra price could start around Rs 1,35,000–1,60,000, reflecting its premium positioning and component costs.
With certification ramping up, expect more leaks soon. Samsung aims to further strengthen its flagship dominance in the fields of photography, performance and AI in 2026.
