Hundreds of such groups are active on Telegram, where links to private videos are being shared for money. This entire business is based on stolen and illegally leaked mobile videos.

Investigation revealed that these groups are being run by brokers, who send links as per the customer’s demand as soon as the payment is made. According to the information received, the price of the video is decided according to age and location. Some videos are available for Rs 100, while for videos from specific states, Rs 200 to Rs 400 are demanded. There is said to be a high demand for videos of Chhattisgarhi couples in this illegal market, which is a matter of concern.

Cyber ​​experts say that people often become careless about the security of personal data present in mobile. A small mistake can lead to private photos or videos falling into the wrong hands, which can be used for blackmailing and illegal selling. Experts have appealed to people to be cautious, not to share personal content and to stay away from suspicious apps and links.
