Huge box office collection, Ranveer Singh’s spy thriller created a stir even on the 16th day.

New Delhi: Ranveer Singh’s film ‘Dhurandhar’ has strengthened its hold on the Indian box office in the third weekend, despite facing the pressure of big Hollywood releases Avatar, Agni Aur Rakh. This spy thriller, directed by Aditya Dhar, not only recorded a spectacular rise in the domestic market but also showed strong international earnings. With this, the film is moving forward rapidly in the race to become the biggest Indian film of 2025.

The film’s earnings have now reached very close to ₹800 crore globally. On the basis of strong word-of-mouth, ‘Dhurandhar’ has left behind the slow beginning and has achieved record-breaking performance and has crossed the figures of many big Hindi films.

Dhurandhar Box Office Update

‘Dhurandhar’ had earned ₹483 crore nett at the Indian box office in the first 15 days of its release. On the third Saturday, the film registered a huge growth of 50% compared to the third Friday. On this day the film did a net business of ₹33.50 crore in India.

With this, the total domestic collection of the film in 16 days reached ₹ 516.50 crore net (₹ 619.75 crore gross). With this achievement, ‘Dhurandhar’ has become the seventh Hindi film to join the ₹500 crore club in India and has also proved to be the fastest film to reach this figure, leaving behind the record of Jawan and Stree 2.

Strong performance in overseas market also

The earnings of ‘Dhurandhar’ had gained momentum in the second week in the international market. However, in the third weekend of Avatar: Fire and Ashes

Due to the worldwide release, there was a slight decline in the foreign collections. Despite this, the film has so far earned approximately $18.5 million gross from the overseas market. The worldwide collection of the film has reached around ₹785 crore in 16 days.

Towards becoming the biggest Indian film of 2025

According to trade analysts, ‘Dhurandhar’ can cross the lifetime collection of Chhaava (₹807 crore) on Sunday. After this, the next target of the film is to become the highest-grossing Indian film of 2025, leaving behind Kantara Chapter 1 (₹852 crore).

The film may have had an average opening at the box office, but the strong story and positive response from the audience made it a big blockbuster. The second part of the film will be released in March 2026.
