Indian women’s cricket team’s star opener Smriti Mandhana has created a new history. In the first T20 match against Sri Lanka in Visakhapatnam, she completed 4000 runs in women’s T20 international cricket.

With this achievement, she has become the first Indian player to reach this milestone. At the world level, she is the second player after New Zealand’s Suzie Bates to hold this record.
