Emmvee shares jump over 2% after commissioning 2.5 GW solar module manufacturing line in Bengaluru

Shares of Emmvee Photovoltaic Power rose more than 2% in early morning trade after the company announced the commencement of operations of its 2.5 GW solar module manufacturing line at Unit VI in Bengaluru, marking a key milestone in its ongoing capacity expansion plan.

In a regulatory filing made on Friday, the company said the newly commissioned manufacturing line is located at its factory in Sulibele, Hoskote Taluk, Bengaluru, Karnataka, and became operational on December 20, 2025. The facility is operated by Emmvee Energy Private Limitedwhich is a material and wholly owned subsidiary of Emmvee Photovoltaic Power.

The commissioning has been disclosed under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015. According to the filing, the project forms part of the capacity expansion plan that was previously outlined in the company’s IPO offer documents and has been completed within the envisaged timeline.

Following the addition of the new 2.5 GW manufacturing line, Emmvee’s total solar module manufacturing capacity has increased to 10.3 GW. This expansion significantly enhances the company’s manufacturing scale and strengthens its presence in India’s fast-growing renewable energy and solar manufacturing ecosystem.
