Dhurandhar film breaks records at box office, crosses Rs 800 crore mark

Despite big releases like James Cameron’s ‘Avatar: Fire and Ash’, ‘Dhurandhar’ has maintained its strong position at the Indian box office. The film grossed approximately Rs 33.5 crore on its third Saturday, taking its total nett collection to Rs 516.5 crore. Earlier, the record for highest earning on third Saturday was held by ‘Chhaava’ (Rs 22 crore), while ‘Pushpa 2’ had earned Rs 20 crore. Both these films also achieved the status of all-time blockbuster.

Strong influence in global earnings also

‘Dhurandhar’ has crossed the Rs 800 crore mark at the global box office, which is a significant achievement for the film. By the third Saturday of its release, the film had earned Rs 790.75 crore, which is expected to touch the milestone of Rs 800 crore by Monday.

Position in top ten Indian films

‘Dhurandhar’ has made its place among the top ten Indian films of all time on the basis of net collection in India. It has left behind Ranbir Kapoor’s ‘Animal’, whose lifetime collection in India was Rs 553 crore.

Success in music also

The film also achieved an important milestone in the field of music, with all its tracks entering Spotify’s Global Top 200. This is the first time that all the songs of a Bollywood album have made it to the international charts simultaneously.


Dhurandhar’s group of artists

Directed by Aditya Dhar, the film features lead actors like Akshaye Khanna, Arjun Rampal, R Madhavan, Sanjay Dutt, Rakesh Bedi and Sara Arjun. The film is the first part of a two-part gangster saga, with a sequel planned for release in Eid 2026.
