Bondada Engineering shares jump over 4% after securing Rs 945 crore EPC solar order from NLC India Renewables

Shares of Bondada Engineering Limited gained over 4% after the company announced a major order win in the renewable energy space. The Hyderabad-based EPC player has secured a large and strategically significant contract from NLC India Limitedawarded on behalf of its renewable arm, NLC India Renewables Limited.

The order pertains to Balance of System (BOS) works for setting up an 810 MW solar power project at the RVUNL Solar Park in Bikaner. The project will be executed under the Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) model and also includes Operations and Maintenance (O&M) services for a period of three years.

Under the scope of the contract, Bondada Engineering will undertake complete design and engineering, site development, manufacturing oversight, inspection at supplier works, supply, insurance, transportation, storage, erection, installation, testing and commissioning of the solar project. The scope also covers the evacuation system up to the delivery point, which is the 33 kV side of the 33/400 kV Park Pooling Substation.

The total value of the order stands at approximately ₹945.1 crore. The contract has been awarded by a domestic entity and is not classified as a related party transaction. The company has also confirmed that neither the promoter nor promoter group entities have any interest in the awarding entity.

As per the Letter of Intent, the project is scheduled to be executed within 15 months from the receipt of the Letter of Award.
