Real army location shooting challenging, Ahan Shetty Border 2 experience!
This film is very special for Ahan Shetty because after the superflop of his first film ‘Tadap’, now ‘Border 2’ is important for his career. The actor has played the role of a Navy officer in the film and now in a special conversation with IANS he has shared the stories of his character and the shooting of the film.
Ahaan worked very hard for rigorous military training and difficult action sequences. He told that the training took place where real soldiers take training. Ahan said that the film was shot at NDA Khadakwasla and the aim was not just to capture the original visuals but also to learn about the environment which completely transformed my character.
While sharing his shooting experience, he said that the shooting location started changing but my routine remained the same as before. Strength training sessions, agility, cardio, ice bath, steam, sauna and red light therapy became the daily routine. There was no time for rest because we could not leave training and had to shoot war scenes every day, so there was no time for rest. It seemed that now I just have to perform well.
Ahaan had to face a lot of challenges while shooting at real military locations. He told that the war scene was shot in a temperature of 40 degrees and during the 12-hour shooting one had to work wearing technical gear.
Let us tell you that Ahan Shetty is going to play the role of a Navy officer in ‘Border 2’. Both this film and the character are special for him because his father Sunil Shetty also played the role of Bhairav Singh, a soldier posted on the border, in the film ‘Border’. His enthusiasm and character were greatly appreciated in the film, but now it remains to be seen how much love the audience gives to his son Ahaan.
