Chhattisgarh: In ‘Janadesh Parab’, Nadda made a scathing attack on Congress, said – opposition is cut off from public sentiments.

Janjgir-Champa. Union Minister JP Nadda, while addressing the general meeting with the slogan of Jai Satnam in the ‘Janadesh Parab’ program organized at Janjgir Police Line on Monday, congratulated the Chhattisgarh government led by Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai on the completion of two years and called it a victory of public trust. Nadda said that work has been done to implement the resolutions taken by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government after coming to power.

He alleged that during the tenure of the previous Congress government, the state was struggling with fear, corruption and compromised policies. The public gave an opportunity to BJP in the state by changing that system, the result of which is visible today in the form of development. He said that the state government has worked keeping the villages, poor and labor class at the center. Financial assistance has been given to a large number of workers, while a transparent recruitment process has been started for thousands of government posts for the youth, due to which new employment opportunities are being created.

On the government’s tough stance on Naxalism, the Union Minister said that softness was shown towards Naxalites during the Congress rule, whereas the present government has taken decisive action against them. He claimed that a target has been set to completely eliminate Naxalism from the state by March 2026 and the government is moving strongly in that direction.

Referring to the economic achievements of the country, Nadda said that today India has joined the major economies of the world and is continuously progressing. He described the expansion in digital transactions, mobile manufacturing, road network and health facilities as the identity of the new India. He said that new medical colleges are being established to strengthen the medical facilities in Chhattisgarh, which also includes Janjgir. Whereas super specialty hospitals have been started in Bilaspur and Rajnandgaon.

Targeting the Congress leadership, he said that the opposition has become cut off from public sentiments. He said that Congress does not understand the priorities of the people and that is why it is facing failure again and again. Chief Minister Sai, who was presiding over the program, expressed his gratitude to the people and said that the people of the state have expressed confidence in Modi’s guarantee.

He alleged that crimes increased during the tenure of the previous government, whereas the pace of development has increased after the BJP government came to power. He described the campaign against Naxalism as the priority of the state. Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma said that the government is committed to completely eradicate Naxalism from Chhattisgarh. He reiterated that a target has been set to free the state from Naxal problem by March 31, 2026 and concrete action is being taken in this direction.
