Tamil Nadu Dabodi Orthodox Spinner R. Sai Kishore took a brilliant five wickets against Durham while playing for Surrey in the County Championship 2025 match. This match is being played on the Riverside Ground. Sai Kishore took two wickets on the second day of the match, after which he completed five wickets (5/72) on the third day by dismissing Kodi Yusuf, Bas de Leede and Matthew Potts. He took a total of seven wickets in the match and so far has taken 11 wickets in two matches at an average of 24.
Due to his excellent bowling, Surrey bowled out Durham for 344 runs, leaving them a target of only 176 runs to win. Playing in Division Two, Yuzvendra Chahal took two wickets for Northamptonshire against Derbyshire on the fourth day. He had taken six wickets in the first innings and now he has eight wickets in the match. If he takes two more wickets on the last day, he will have 10 wickets in the match.
Interestingly, Chahale had taken two wickets in two consecutive balls and created a hat-trick situation, but Van Madsen took the third ball. At the same time, Tilak Verma, playing for Hampshire, scored an unbeaten 33 runs in 62 balls against Worcestershire.
