Moradabad:On Monday, the second day of Aam Aadmi Party’s ‘Save Vote, Save Constitution’ padyatra, the struggle and public support seemed to be getting stronger. A 6-day padyatra under the leadership of senior Aam Aadmi Party leader, Uttar Pradesh in-charge and MP Sanjay Singh started at J.R. on Monday morning. Started from Palace, Near Ambedkar Park, Opposite CRPF, Moradabad Road, Rampur.

As soon as the Padyatra reached Dalpatpur in Moradabad, the people of Moradabad warmly welcomed Sanjay Singh. As soon as he entered the limits of Moradabad, wherever the Padyatra passed, he got immense support from the people. This Padayatra is a campaign to alert the public against the biggest theft of votes in Uttar Pradesh by the BJP in the name of SIR, deletion of names from the voter list, depriving the poor-Dalits-backward-minorities of voting rights and attempts to weaken the Constitution.

Aam Aadmi Party will expose the conspiracy

During the padyatra, Sanjay Singh said that before the elections in Uttar Pradesh, preparations are being made to influence the democratic process by making large-scale irregularities in the voter list. Sanjay Singh said that voting is not just a right but the biggest power of the people, and SIR is being used as a weapon to weaken this power. He made it clear that Aam Aadmi Party will expose this conspiracy in every district, every village and every locality.

The fight to protect democratic rights

AAP MP Sanjay Singh said that this fight is not against any one election or any one government, but to protect the democratic rights of the coming generations. He said that if the attack on voting is successful today, then tomorrow the voice of the public will be suppressed forever. Therefore, Aam Aadmi Party is making the public the watchdog of this fight, so that no government can play with the Constitution and voting rights.

Sanjay Singh said that today the politics of diverting attention from serious issues is going on in the country. The politics of hatred and fear is being carried forward by running away from questions like unemployment, inflation, farmers’ problems, poor condition of schools and hospitals. He reiterated that Aam Aadmi Party does not hate politics but politics of rights and work and if it comes to power, it will give priority to education, health and employment.
