Kinetic Watts & Volts teams up with JioThings to build India’s next-gen connected EVs
MUMBAI: Kinetic Watts & Volts Limited, the electric vehicle division of Kinetic Engineering Limited, today announced a strategic technology partnership with Jio Things Limited, a division of Jio Platforms. This partnership is all about kinetic EV bike The models will include advanced voice assisted control, IoT enabled digital clusters and connected vehicle technology. This partnership is a major leap towards KWV’s mission to provide an accessible, intelligent and future-ready mobility experience for Indian drivers.
Through this partnership, KWV Jio will introduce a comprehensive set of new digital capabilities enabled by IoT. These include voice-assisted vehicle interaction for vehicle convenience and safety, while smart digital instrument clusters based on real-time data provide the driver with more accurate and immediate information. Along with this, connected mobility features will be made available to continuously check the performance of the vehicle and diagnose potential faults. Enhanced infotainment applications will be offered to make journeys more interesting and informative, while telematics and cloud-based analytics will enable efficiency, safety and operational decisions for fleet operators.

JioThings provides an integrated ecosystem, including edge devices, connectivity, cloud infrastructure, remote device management, installation support and aftermarket services.
