Gujarat’s cities will become growth hubs through holistic development: Bhupendra Patel
Gandhinagar: While addressing at the glorious Gujarat Conclave organized in Ahmedabad, Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel had said that Gujarat and development have today become synonymous with each other, the foundation of which is the development policy of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, which has created a new history. He added that Gujarat has become a role model of development.
The Chief Minister further said that Gujarat received Narendrabhai’s leadership and guidance for almost one and a half decades. As a result of stable and strong political leadership, Gujarat has reached new heights of development. Gujarat’s economy has grown thirteen times in the last 24 years. Gujarat’s share in the total GDP of the country is more than 8.2 percent. Gujarat’s contribution to the country’s total industrial production is more than 17 percent, he added. The Chief Minister had said that whether it is the Prime Minister’s resolve for a developed India or a self-reliant India, Gujarat is always at the forefront in realizing every resolution of the Prime Minister.
Has been. Gujarat is the first state in the country to prepare the vision document 2047 roadmap with the resolve of a developed Gujarat for a developed India. The target is to take Gujarat’s GDP to 3.5 trillion US dollars by the year 2047. Gujarat gives priority to living well and earning well for all its citizens. The average age of people in Gujarat is 70 years, which has been targeted to be increased to 84 years by 2047 due to health services. He had added that the Prime Minister is committed to realizing the vision of all-inclusive and sustainable development.
Talking about the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit, the Chief Minister said that the Vibrant Regional Conference is being organized keeping in mind the Prime Minister’s mantra of Vocal for Local. The government is working to bring development to every district. Gujarat is ready to move forward in new age sectors like fintech, green growth, biotechnology, drones, semiconductor, AI etc. and manufacturing from chips to ships. In the coming years, there will be comprehensive development of the cities of Gujarat. He had added that the cities of Gujarat will become growth hubs through holistic development.
Just as Gujarat has formed GRIT at the central level, the Chief Minister had said that it will be 75 years since the establishment of Gujarat in the year 2035. Gujarat’s Amrit Varsh will be a milestone year. He had said that planning has been done for the development of Gujarat based on four I’s – Infrastructure, Innovation, Individuals and Institutions.
