When friends do not seem happy even after winning the politics of Maharashtra, what is the matter?

News India Live, Digital Desk: The politics of Maharashtra is no less than the suspense of any web series. When the results of the recently held local body polls came, it seemed that everyone in the government would fight. Brother, victory is victory! BJP won and emerged as the largest party. By law, there should have been a celebratory atmosphere in the Mahayuti (BJP+Shinde+Ajit Pawar) camp, laddus should have been distributed. laddus were definitely distributed, but there is talk in the political circles that there is some bitterness hidden in this sweetness. What happened is that this spectacular victory of BJP has not only ‘numbed’ the opposition but has also given sleepless nights to its own allies i.e. Eknath Shinde and Ajit Pawar group. Come, let us understand in simple language, what is this “side effect of victory”? BJP became ‘Big Boss’, allies became dwarfs? There is a simple principle of politics – whoever has the public, his is the rule. These election results have made it clear that BJP has a very strong hold at the grassroots level of Maharashtra. Now this has become an alarm bell for CM Shinde and Deputy CM Ajit Pawar. Just think, if the elder brother of the house (BJP) completes all the work alone, then what will be the importance of the younger brothers (allies)? It is being discussed that BJP is now coming to a position where it may not need the crutches that much. Shinde faction and Ajit Pawar faction are beginning to fear that if BJP becomes dominant on its own like this, then their bargaining power will be lost at the time of ticket distribution in the upcoming assembly or major elections. They will remain just a small shareholder. Uddhav and Congress: Hopes shattered, tension increased. On the other hand, the condition of the opposition is also in bad shape. The Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA), which includes Uddhav Thackeray’s Shiv Sena and the Congress, has been dealt a blow by these results. It was expected that the public, angry with the infighting between the government, would support the opposition, but the tables turned upside down. For Congress and Uddhav Thackeray, it is becoming not just a question of defeat but a fight for survival. If the ground level (local body) looses its grip, how will the building remain standing? The workers are frustrated and the leaders are sweating. Is this a trailer for 2029 (or the next elections)? These results are not just figures, they are a message. BJP has proved that it has its own “vote bank chemistry”. This victory is also a ‘warning’ to the allies that “Brother, improve your performance, otherwise you will miss the train.” The overall atmosphere is that drums are beating in the BJP office, but there is silence in the offices of the alliance partners, which is saying a lot. These results have clearly shown when a friend becomes a competitor in politics and when a competitor becomes a burden. Now it remains to be seen how Shinde and Pawar keep themselves afloat in this “BJP wave”.
