Gujarat CM Bengal Visit: Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel was recently on a tour of West Bengal. During this, he launched the first ‘Make in India’ metro coach of Ahmedabad Metro at Titagarh Rail Systems’ Uttarpara plant near Kolkata. CM said that Titagarh Rail Plant has fulfilled Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of Make in India and self-reliant India. This is a proud moment for all of us. Truly this place is a living example of one India and the best India.

CM Patel made a post on this matter. In the post, the CM said that equipped with world-class safety features and fully automated, driverless technology, these indigenous coaches are a big step towards efficient, sustainable and urban mobility of the future.

Increase in the number of passengers in Ahmedabad Metro

Ahmedabad Metro serves more than 1.6 lakh passengers every day. The number of passengers is increasing annually by 30 to 40 percent, which shows its increasing public utility and trust. CM further said in his post that under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Make in India is strengthening modern public transport. Life is becoming easier with this.

Metro can run in other cities of Gujarat also

The success of Ahmedabad Metro has opened the way for metro expansion in other cities including Surat. India is moving forward in the direction of self-reliant India.
