After capturing the Ashes 2025-26, Australia mocked England, gave a special message by wearing ‘Ronball’ t-shirt!
Australia Celebration after Ashes 2025-26 win: By defeating England once again in the Ashes 2025-26, Australia not only captured the trophy but also caught everyone’s attention with its special style of celebrating the victory. With the victory in the third test, the Australian team won the Ashes series and after this, the scene seen on the field took a dig at the famous strategy of England.
As soon as the match was over, Australian players were seen on the field wearing white t-shirts, on which ‘Ronball’ was written in big letters. This was purely a sarcasm on England’s ‘baseball’ tactics. Australia showed on the basis of its performance that simplicity and solid cricket can outweigh aggressive thinking.
This new style of the Australian team is actually linked to head coach Andrew McDonald, who is jokingly called ‘Ronald’ within the team. Inspired by this name, the word ‘Ronball’ came into existence. After the third test, Travis Head distributed this special t-shirt to his teammates, on which a cartoon of the coach was drawn. The celebration became a humorous response to England’s aggressive thinking.
Travis Head, who scored an important century in the second innings of the third Test, took charge of the celebrations outside the field as well. He treated his teammates to his signature drink known as Headliner Spirits. Interestingly, during this period, coach Andrew McDonald was the only person who did not wear the ‘Ronball’ t-shirt.
Former England captain Michael Vaughan also reacted to the celebration. According to him, this style of Australia clearly shows that the team wanted to break the arrogant image of England. He wrote that England’s attitude has been very confident for the last few years, but this tour proved to be a complete lesson for them.
According to reports, there was massive celebration in the Australian dressing room after the victory. Amidst music, songs and laughter, the team was joined by stalwarts like Ricky Ponting, Adam Gilchrist, Matthew Hayden and Jason Gillespie. Captain Pat Cummins made this memorable moment special by calling everyone on the field.
Now the next match of Ashes (Ashes 2025-26) will be played in the form of Boxing Day Test in Melbourne from 26th December, where Australia will be eyeing another strong performance, while for England this match has become a battle to save reputation.
